Bibliomaniac Kara Haynes dreams of living in a world where work does not start before coffee (or 10am), everyone has a cool accent, and Chickfila delivers because they’re Christian and Jesus delivered, so they should too. Throughout her high school career, she followed her passions by starting a non profit organization entitled The Project Hope Foundation, being President of the Project Hope club at her school, and managing to dream of having her own pet duck the entire time. Despite having a full college course load, Kara is not limited to her school life. This past summer, she represented the state of Indiana in the Washington Journalism and Media Conference held through the Newseum in Washington D.C. When she’s not at work or school, Kara can be found reading, writing and participating in the Gilmore Girl’s tradition of drinking coffee at some small obscure coffee shop in town. After high school, Kara plans to attend whichever University gives her the best scholarship and to double major in Clinical Psychology and Creative Writing with a minor in Spanish.
